SVJCT’s Samarth Nursing College, Kasarwadi celebrated International Nurses Day Celebration Week 2026 from 8th May to 12th May 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The celebration was carried out under the guidance of Principal Prof. Tejal Surve and Vice- Principal Prof. Jessey Jacob and was coordinated by Mr. Dhammaratna Ghatage, Clinical Instructor. The celebration began with an Inauguration Ceremony followed by various academic competitions including Speech, Poem, and Essay Competitions. Students also participated enthusiastically in Crossword and Puzzle Activities and a Debate Competition, showcasing their knowledge, communication, and critical thinking skills. Creative and cultural events such as Mehendi, Hairstyle, Nail Art, Drawing, and Rangoli Competitions added color and excitement to the celebration week. The event concluded with Spandan Events 2026 and a Valedictory Program, where participants and winners were appreciated for their enthusiastic involvement. A special highlight of the celebration was the “Wall of Gratitude”, where students and faculty expressed their respect and appreciation towards nurses and healthcare professionals. The celebration successfully reflected the spirit of nursing, compassion, creativity, and teamwork while providing students with a platform to showcase their talents and professional values.
