B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College, Sawarde, Chiplun, celebrated the MUHS Foundation Day on 10.06.2026 with great enthusiasm. The programme was organized to commemorate the स्थापना दिन of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and to recognize its significant contribution to medical education and healthcare services. On this occasion, a flag hoisting ceremony was held, marking the importance of the day and instilling a sense of pride and unity among all participants. A total of 102 students and 31 faculty members actively participated in the event, making it a vibrant and engaging programme. The celebration provided an opportunity for students and faculty to reflect on the vision, mission, and achievements of MUHS. The event concluded on a positive and inspiring note, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment among participants towards their institution and society. Overall, the MUHS Foundation Day celebration was successfully conducted and served as a meaningful platform for academic inspiration, unity, and institutional pride.
