On the occasion of International Women’s Day, B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College & Hospital organized a vibrant two-day celebration on 7th and 8th March 2026 to honor the dedication and achievements of its female staff across medical, nursing, and paramedical departments. As part of the celebration, a special food stall titled “Khamang Katta” (Food Stall / Chat Corner) was set up on 7th March 2026. The initiative provided a unique platform for female staff to showcase their culinary talents and creativity. Participants prepared a wide variety of delicious dishes and snacks, reflecting both traditional flavors and innovative recipes. The event not only highlighted the hidden talents of the staff but also promoted team spirit, collaboration, and informal interaction among colleagues. “Khamang Katta” added a joyful and engaging element to the Women’s Day celebrations, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
