On the auspicious occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti as per tithi (Hindu lunar calendar)
on Phalguna Krishna Paksha 3, that is 6 th March 2026, devotional enthusiasm filled the air at Shiv
Samarth Gad in Dervan, as a Laghurudrabhishek puja was held, invoking divine blessings through
sacred rituals. The celebrations included a grand Palakhi procession, and then the villagers were
given free clothes by our Trustee, Shri Vikasrao Walawalkar. SVJCT gifts wristwatches to school girls
upon completing 7 th grade, to encourage girls from nearby villages to pursue further education.
These initiatives have been consistently carried out for several decades, reflecting SVJCT’s enduring
commitment to community welfare and the promotion of education.
