The Faculty Development Program (FDP) was conducted to enhance the research capabilities and scholarly writing skills of the faculty members. The sessions were primarily led by Dr. Nancy Fernandis, who provided comprehensive insights into the lifecycle of academic publishing, from manuscript structure to selecting the right indexed journals. Dr. Nancy Fernandis led the first academic module, focusing on the Foundations of Research. She emphasized the critical role of research in advancing evidence-based nursing practice. The necessity of scholarly writing as a medium for professional growth and healthcare innovation. The sessions focused on, Manuscript Development and Quality Enhancement, Publication Strategy and Selection and The Impact of Indexing: Scopus and PubMed.
