On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day 2026, the Department of Neurophysiotherapy, B.K.L. Walawalkar College of Physiotherapy, organised an E-Poster Presentation Competition on 8 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall on the theme “Stroke Rehabilitation.” The competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of recent advances and evidence-based approaches in stroke rehabilitation, encourage engagement with current research, and develop scientific presentation and communication skills among UG and PG students. UG students presented e-posters on “Recent Advances in Stroke Rehabilitation,” while PG students focused on “Insights in Aphasia and Dysphagia in Stroke Patients.” The presentations covered recent evidence, assessment approaches, therapeutic interventions and advancements in stroke rehabilitation. The competition was judged by Dr. Shivani Patil (PT), Assistant Professor, KLE College of Physiotherapy, Hubballi, Karnataka, and entries were evaluated on scientific accuracy, relevance, organisation, presentation skills, clarity and overall impact. In the UG category, Code UG-04 secured first position, Code UG-07 second position and Code UG-01 third position, while Code PG-6 was declared the winner in the PG category. The event provided an academically enriching platform for students to explore contemporary developments in stroke rehabilitation and highlighted the growing role of physiotherapy in evidence-based stroke management.
