As part of Anti-Ragging Week 2026, B.K.L. Walawalkar College of Physiotherapy conducted an awareness programme for students on 18 August 2026 to promote a safe, respectful and ragging-free campus environment. The programme sensitised students to various forms of ragging and bullying, their potential physical and psychological consequences, and the importance of treating every individual with dignity and respect. Informative videos highlighting anti-ragging, peer support, responsible student behaviour and empathy were presented, followed by interactive activities that encouraged teamwork, participation and reflection. Students actively participated in the sessions and discussed appropriate ways to respond to situations involving ragging or bullying while supporting their peers. The programme concluded with the message “Say No to Ragging,” reinforcing the collective responsibility of students and faculty to foster a safe, inclusive and supportive academic environment.
