The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at B.K.L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College, Chiplun, successfully organized the Mumbai Konkan Regional Forensic Quiz Competition – “Forensic Trivia 2024” on 30th November 2024. Preparations for the event began well in advance with active publicity and invitations sent to all medical colleges across the Konkan region.
The screening round of the quiz commenced at 10:30 a.m., conducted under the guidance of Dr. Avinash Waghmode, Professor & Head, Department of FMT, and Quiz Organizing Chairman. A total of six teams participated in the screening round, out of which four teams qualified for the final quiz, each comprising three members.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and engagement, with an audience of approximately 235 students and faculty members attending the final round. The quiz provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge of forensic medicine while encouraging interactive learning and academic excellence.
