The Department of ENT, in collaboration with the Department of Anatomy, BKL Walawalkar Medical College, Dervan, Chiplun, organized a Temporal Bone Dissection Workshop that witnessed enthusiastic participation from 19 delegates representing various medical colleges across Maharashtra. The workshop aimed to enhance surgical skills and deepen anatomical understanding of the temporal bone, a region critical for otologic procedures.

The academic sessions included comprehensive discussions on important ear microsurgeries, with emphasis on surgical anatomy, operative techniques, and clinical applications. The highlight of the event was the hands-on temporal bone dissection, where participants practiced under high-quality operating microscopes graciously provided by Dr. Morwani Sir, ensuring an optimal learning experience.

This initiative not only strengthened the delegates’ technical expertise but also encouraged collaborative learning and knowledge sharing. The workshop concluded with excellent feedback, reflecting its success in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical surgical skill development.
