On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2026, SVJCT’s Samarth Nursing College organized a Blood Donation Camp to spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to honor blood donors for their life-saving contributions. The 2026 theme, “One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.”, reflected the spirit of compassion, solidarity, and humanity associated with every blood donation. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from nursing students, who actively donated blood as a gesture of social responsibility and service to the community. Faculty members and staff also extended their support, contributing to the success of the initiative. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the need for regular voluntary blood donation to ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need. Through this noble initiative, the college reinforced the message of saving lives through the simple act of donating blood.
