A two-day wellness program commenced on 22nd June, beginning early in the morning with an enlightening session on “Heartfulness Meditation” conducted by Mrs. Sangita Palkar and Dr. Anup Nilawar. The session aimed to introduce students to the practice of mindfulness and inner calmness through guided meditation techniques.
In the second session, Dr. Rashmi Singh addressed the various dimensions of wellness and highlighted the ill effects of a sedentary lifestyle, encouraging students to adopt regular physical activity and mental well-being practices.
The third session, led by Dr. Satyajeet Kumbhar, focused on the importance of posture and ergonomics, emphasizing how correct body alignment contributes to overall health and productivity.
The day concluded with an insightful talk by Dr. Amar Barawade on the importance of diet and healthy lifestyle choices, reinforcing the role of nutrition in maintaining holistic well-being.
To commemorate the occasion and engage students creatively, a Reels Competition on the theme “Yog in Health and Disease” was organized in the afternoon session. Students participated enthusiastically, and the winners were awarded certificates in recognition of their efforts.
To assess the learning outcomes, pre-tests and post-tests were conducted, followed by student feedback, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of the program’s impact.
