Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust’s B.K.L. Walawalkar Hospital and Rural Medical College, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and Samartha Educational Institute’s Department of Psychological Health and Behavioural Science, proudly present the short film “AATMAN – The Mirror Within.”

Produced by the Departments of Psychology and Psychiatry, the film is directed and scripted by Akash Gupta, with writing contributions from Akash Gupta and Rama Shetye. Cinematography and editing were handled by Anushthan Autade, with makeup artistry by Rama Shetye.

The film was shot across multiple locations, including Swayambhu Shree Kedarnath Mandir, Survewadi, SVJCT Campus, and nearby villages. Featuring a talented cast led by Riddhi Wadekar, Shruti Gudhekar, Shreyas Gahal, Bhardwaj Patil, and Purva Khare, among others, the short film also showcases a special appearance by students of the Biomedical Instrumentation department.

“AATMAN – The Mirror Within” explores themes of psychological insight and self-reflection, highlighting the creative collaboration between SVJCT’s academic and healthcare wings.
