On 3rd January 2025, Savitribai Phule Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first female teacher and social reformer, Savitribai Phule. The day, also observed as Mahila Mukti Din (Women’s Liberation Day) and Balika Din (Girl Child Day), honors her pioneering contributions to women’s education, empowerment, and social equality.
