Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all sections of Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust’s English Medium School & Junior College of Science, Sawarde. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of love, brotherhood, mutual care, respect, and cooperation. As sisters tied Rakhis to their brothers and exchanged warm wishes, the students also extended the spirit of Raksha Bandhan towards Mother Nature. Under the inspiring message “Protecting the Environment is Our True Responsibility,” students tied Rakhis to the trees in the school premises, symbolising their promise to care for and protect nature. The activity helped students understand that trees are an integral part of our lives and that safeguarding our environment is responsibility shared by every individual. This Raksha Bandhan, our students celebrated not only the bond of relationships but also the bond between humanity and nature.
