Sawarde, Maharashtra – BKL Walawalkar College of Physiotherapy has once again cemented its reputation as a premier center for academic and clinical excellence. At the prestigious PhysioSetu National Conference recently held in Kolhapur, the institution’s faculty members achieved a remarkable double victory in the Professional Paper Presentation category, competing against a talented pool of 18 researchers and practitioners from across India.
The institution reached the pinnacle of the competition with Dr. Meghana Palkhade securing the 1st Prize (Gold) for her outstanding presentation. Adding to the college’s accolades, Dr. Satyajit Kumbhar, Assistant Professor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, was awarded the 3rd Prize (Bronze). These awards highlight the high caliber of research and evidence-based practice being nurtured at the Sawarde-based campus, distinguishing its faculty on a national platform.
This achievement is viewed as a significant milestone for the college’s research profile, particularly as it prepares for upcoming NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) evaluations.
