World Mental Health Day Celebration – 10th October 2025
This year’s theme, “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” emphasized the importance of ensuring mental health support during crises such as natural disasters, conflicts, and public health emergencies.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Mrudul Bhatjiwale, renowned neurosurgeon, delivered an inspiring address on the importance of mental well-being, compassion, and awareness in society.
The celebration featured a variety of engaging performances including a fashion show, songs, skits, dances, and a short film, all centered around mental health awareness and positivity. These artistic presentations beautifully conveyed messages of resilience, empathy, and hope.
The week-long celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing winners of the poster making, rangoli, and quiz competitions. The event ended with a vote of thanks and a collective pledge to nurture mental wellness in everyday life — reminding everyone that mental health is everyone’s responsibility, and that creativity itself can be a form of healing.
