A special workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the medical field was organized on March 1, 2025, to help future doctors understand the growing role of AI in healthcare.
AI expert Adhish Thite, Chief AI Strategist from San Francisco, USA, guided the session and shared valuable insights on how AI is transforming medical research, diagnostics, and treatment. He explained, with practical examples, the use of AI tools in analyzing medical images such as CT scans, X-rays, and MRIs, and discussed how AI can complement and even compete with human intelligence in certain analytical tasks.
He emphasized that in the near future, AI-driven systems will enable faster diagnosis, personalized treatment, and efficient patient care. Such technologies will assist doctors in decision-making, medical image analysis, and accessing patient data or research instantly.
The workshop received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively participated and asked insightful questions, reflecting their curiosity about AI’s impact on modern medicine.
