School sports competitions are often considered the first milestone in the journey of every athlete. Achievements in such events play a key role in shaping their sporting careers.The Kolhapur Divisional School Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship was held on 29th and 30th September at Kolhapur, where students of Shri Vitthalrao Joshi Charitable Trust’s English Medium School, who regularly practise at the SVJCT’s Sports Academy Shooting Range, achieved remarkable success.In this championship, Harsh Bagwe secured the gold medal in the Under-14 Boys’ category with an excellent score of 394 points, while Spruha Sawardekar earned the bronze medal with a creditable score of 351 points.
