A guest lecture on “Drug Discovery” was successfully conducted on 1st March 2025 at Dr. Anil Kakodkar Hall, College Building. The session was delivered by Dr. Sudhir Kulkarni, who shared valuable insights into the modern drug discovery process.
During the lecture, Dr. Kulkarni explained the key stages involved in drug development—from target identification and lead molecule screening to preclinical evaluation and clinical trials. He highlighted recent advancements, challenges in pharmaceutical research, and the growing role of computational techniques in accelerating discovery.
