Under the aegis of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and in collaboration with Bhaktashreshtha Kamalakar Pant Walawalkar Rural Medical College, divisional sports competitions and selection trials have been organised at the Shri Vitthalrao Joshi Charities Trust Sports Complex on 29 and 30 September 2025.Competitions are being held in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Athletics, Volleyball, and Basketball, with participation from more than 380 players representing Physiotherapy, Nursing, and MBBS colleges.At the inauguration ceremony, dignitaries present included Dr Sunil Fugare, Ex Registrar of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences; senior sports organiser Sandeep Tawade; Principal of Walawalkar Physiotherapy College, Chandrashekhar L; Dean of Walawalkar Medical College, Dr Mansing Ghadge; and Principal of Samarth Nursing School, Tejal Surve. With their presence, the tournament began with great enthusiasm.
