The 142nd Jayanti Utsav of Shri Baba Maharaj was celebrated with deep devotion and spiritual fervor at the Sadguru Shri Baba Maharaj Samadhee Mandir, Pune, from 1st to 6th October 2025. The six-day celebration featured a series of Namasmaran, Kirtan, Pravachan, and the recitation of the Sankshipt Sadguru Charitra by devotees.
The festival commenced with Saffron Dwaja Pujan, Laghurudrabhishek, Upanishad Pathan, and Kirtan, followed by Mahaprasad and the Tulasi Vivah ceremony in the evening. Prize distribution for the Recitation Competition and Vedpathshala results were also held, along with honoring distinguished Vedic scholars Panditpravar Dr. P.R. Vasudevan and Vedmurti Mandar Kshirsagar, in the presence of Smt. Sucheta Paranjape, renowned Indologist and Professor.
The main day coincided with Kartik Paurnima (Dev Deepavali). The celebration featured Janmotsav Kirtan of Shri Baba Maharaj, Tripur Pujan performed by the purohits, a grand chariot procession, and Mahaprasad distribution to devotees.
Subsequent days included continued Pravachan, recitation of Sankshipt Sadguru Charitra, and evening ceremonies. A special welcome was accorded to Dr. Shekhar Mande, prominent Indian biologist and former Director General of CSIR. The festivities concluded with Lalit Kirtan throughout the night, along with the distribution of Naaral (coconut) Prasad, creating an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual energy for all attendees.
