The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the sports complex of Shri Vitthalrao Joshi Charities Trust. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest, renowned Dentist Dr. Sandesh Mayekar – Cosmetic and Aesthetic. Dentist. After the hoisting of the flag, singing of the National Anthem, State Anthem, and Flag Anthem, the Preamble of the Constitution was read out in a group. Students from pre-primary, primary, secondary, and higher secondary sections of the school delivered speeches in various languages like English, Spanish, Sanskrit and German, reviewing the glorious achievements of the Republic of India in the last 76 years.
Asreen Chaudhary, who is from the second year of medicine, spoke in Hindi and reminded the youth of their participation in the formation of the nation and their duty as responsible citizen.
On the occasion of Republic Day, various meritorious sportspersons who represented the school at the national and state levels were felicitated by the dignitaries present with cash prizes.
